Our Canadian Snow Crab Dumplings are a one-of-a-kind spin on a classic that you won’t find anywhere else. The beautiful, premium-grade Canadian snow crab meat adds a sweet taste and finish to our savory dumplings. Boil, pan-fry or steam and serve with your favourite sauces such as soy sauce, rice wine vinegar or sesame oil.
Product arrives frozen, uncooked.
Sourcing
Our snow crab is wild caught locally in the Gulf of St. Lawrence and integrated into our proprietary recipe. We've partnered with the top dumpling house in Canada to ensure a top-notch product.
Cooking Instructions
Classic Pan-Fry
When pan frying, we recommend you place oil on a pan, heat, then sear the dumpling for a good 30-45 seconds. Then add in a ladle or two of water that covers about 30% of the dumpling height. Cover right away and let steam for 3-4 minutes. Open the lid and let it cook until the water evaporates. Then remove and serve.
Boiling
In a pot, bring water to a boil on high heat. Carefully add frozen dumplings. Lower heat to medium-high. Stir occasionally. Cook for about 5 minutes or until dumplings float to the surface. Remove and serve.
Steam
Lightly oil or line a steamer tray with lettuce or cabbage leaves. Place frozen dumplings on the tray, and steam over boiling water for about 8-10 minutes. They are then ready to serve.
